The perfect mouse for most people
Its a simple design, and its hugely effective. No RGB nonsense, no bloated software to adjust dpi and profiles. You have two switches on the bottom of the mouse, and when you plug it in everything works. Its clearly made to be durable, so its a bit snappy and stiff at first, but it wears in and is very comfortable. The liftoff distance and feel of the pads is ideal for gaming, and so far I haven't had a single issue in any game with this mouse. I honestly don't understand why someone would buy anything else.

One of the easiest mice to use right out of the box.
I've been using the mouse for nearly a month now and I can't go back to my original cheap mouse I was using prior. This mouse was a breeze to use. If you really don't want to deal with external software as much as I do. This is probably one of the best mice. It worked perfectly with no problems and felt extremely satisfying with the dpi switch. My old mouse was around 800-1000 dpi, I ended up trying 1600 dpi with this one and it was perfect. I was able to play my favorite games a bit better. I also finally had side mouse buttons as my previous ones didn't have any. It made things s a bit easier as I could use one of them for discord. The only thing I could wish for is a white version of this mouse so it would math better with my keyboard.

Great All-Around Mouse
Bought this mouse for gaming and work-from-home. Simple and elegant. Comes with two controls on the bottom of the mouse that allow you to cycle DPI and Report Rate, A+. Smooth glide and very accurate. Highly recommend for do-it-all mouse seekers. Note: The click on this mouse is quite audible, so anyone seeking quiet mouses - this may be a little too high in pitch to be quiet, etc.

The Zowie EC2, Ergonomic design excellence.
I owned the Zowie FK2 for 6 years as my main ambidextrous mouse, I decided to try different ergo mice to see what was up with ergo mice. I have small hands and do fingertip / claw grip. The Zowie EC2 is definitely quality, the mouse has a good solid feeling to it, the materials feel good on the hand and the design follows the natural pattern of how the hand should be placed. The side buttons are good, not the best placement or feel but they are above par for most. The scroll wheel feels crisp and the mouse has kept well for the time I have had it. The only criticism I have would be the cable, it feels sturdy, heavy and really removes from the feel of moving the mouse. Overall a really good mouse, recommend.

Good for some games
I had a Corsair mouse that changed DPI on its own. Very annoying when playing a game. The mouse its self was very comfortable and had a sniper button, but the DPI changing drove me nuts. So I got this mouse for the software built in. So far the mouse works for what I got it for, but falls short in other areas. Pros:Good shape for ergonomics, good sensor, DPI is changed on the bottom in built in software. Cons: All buttons on the mouse feel cheap. The best 2 are the right and left click, but not any better than a 10 dollar mouse. The roller and 2 side buttons feel the same or worse than a 10 dollar mouse. A Logitech mouse wheel is smoother than this one. This mouse does its basic purpose well in that it moves very smooth at a set DPI. It allows me to get into a game. Just wish the strengths of this mouse could be put into a better built mouse. Update: I changed the stars from 3 to 5. After using the mouse more, I grew to like it more. Surprised how well it worked in first person shooter games.

Sturdy and reliable but could use improvements
The EC2 is a relatively comfortable mouse, although the coating might feel better being a bit more toward the matte side than the more glossy/matte feeling it has. The mouse buttons feel good, although the comfort grooves feel as though they push my index finger closer to the wheel on the left mouse button with my palm/claw grip. Coming from the Deathadder Elite, the shape doesn't feel as comfortable to me and it doesn't feel like much of an extension of my arm as the Deathadder Elite was. The side mouse 4 and 5 buttons are just not good, in my opinion. I've never felt the term mushy really ever applied to any mice I've used but it definitely fits this mouse. There is a noticeable travel distance to actuation and it just feels out of place with the sturdiness of the build overall. Still, it's not particularly a bad mouse; it is just overshadowed by the overall quality and comfort of newer mice. I'd say this is one of those mice that you'll either find yourself loving or just not being much of a fan of using unless you don't have another option. I do prefer not having the third party software that most mice tend to require to get the most out of the function, since polling rate and DPI are all at the bottom of the mouse. The simplicity and general build quality feels really solid beside the mouse 4 and 5 buttons on the side. The mouse wheel has a decent amount of resistance but it's more ideal for gaming than it is for browsing. I would only suggest this mouse if you are heavily into FPS games since this mouse just seems to have some kind of power to make aiming easier and more accurate. For just about any other kind of games, I'd look elsewhere. Especially if you aren't gaming more than you browse or do anything other than play FPS games or anything requiring aiming or accuracy.

New Zowie Fan!
Before buying the EC2, I was strictly a razer/glorious only user (deathadder, viper, model o/d) but i decided to try this plain looking zowie out due to a friend's suggestion. This mouse went above my expectations and i honestly feel like i play better (fps games) and no tiring out from playing mobas etc.. The comfort is solid (kinda similar to the deathadder) has a solid weight to it and its got some big ol feet for some smooth gliding.. The clicks feel very clicky and responsive which i likey. The only few cons that i found were the scroll button is pure garbage but it's not a problem for me, the mouse is VERY smooth so it may be hard to keep a solid grip on it (get some grip tape), and the last con would be the cord is hideous.. But the pros definitely outweigh the cons so definitely would purchase again. Actually thinking about purchasing the S2 just to have an ambidex mouse rdy to go..!! BUY BUY BUY!

Excellent mouse
This is a real quality mouse. I been PC gaming for 15+ years and owned a dozen different mouses from 3 big named brand companies. This mouse is flawless. No rubber glued side pads for your fingers that fall off eventually. No bloated software needs to be installed to control DPI, Polling rates. The clicks are tactical on all buttons. I am genuine when I say, I will always order Zowie peripherals from now on. They also package replacement pads for the bottom of the mouse. If a few years go by, you can apply new ones.
